UCB GEN Car Rental Program

In partnership with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, all UC Berkeley staff, faculty, students, and their respective families and friends can all enjoy special discounted rates and privileges for car rentals.

Please inform Enterprise of the corporate ID code "UCBGEN" when making personal reservations.

For Online Reservations:

  1. Go to www.Enterprise.com
  2. Enter Pick Up and Return Location
  3. Enter the dates for pick up and drop off and Corporate Account Code under Pick Up and Return Date. In this section, you will enter UCBGEN
  4. Select your vehicle
  5. Insurance Section- You will need to purchase the insurance because insurance is not included in the rate 
  6. Enter the required information on the Review and Reserve Page 

UCBGEN Program Details: 

  • Only for Personal Use 

  • Discounted prices

  • Insurance Coverage Available as an Add-On Charge

  • Available to drivers 21 years of age and older 

    • Drivers 21+ can rent up to a Fullsize vehicle outside the Berkeley vicinity. 
    • Drivers require personal insurance or can purchase insurance through Enterprise. 
    • Enterprise will be waiving its young renter fee, which applies to drivers aged 24 or under for personal use.
    • Customer pays all related costs. 

Coverage area: 

Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Monterey.
