Public Surplus Standard Rules Buyers are responsible for: Issuing timely payment within ( 5 ) business days of of winning bid award notice (no cash, checks or money orders accepted) Arranging pickup by appointment within ( 10 ) business days of winning bid award notice Paying bid deposits when applicable Reading all disclaimers and doing due diligence prior to placing bids Customers requesting retraction of bid(s) or failing to make payment(s) before default timelines will be blocked from bidding on UCB auctions for six ( 6 ) months. Reinstatement is by request only after the six ( 6 ) month period has elapsed. Customers with multiple retractions or defaults on auction items may be banned for longer than six ( 6 ) months.
