Surplus Property Sales

Surplus property made available for sale is As Is – Where Is and all sales are final (no refunds).  Most items can be purchased via on-line auction or via our showroom (furniture) located at 3200 Regatta Blvd., Suite E, Richmond, CA.  The showroom is open by appointment only.  Visitors must wear closed toed footwear.  See the section below for Showroom Sales.

On-line auction sales are made available through one or more auction sites.  See the On-Line Auction Sales section below for details on buying on-line, the current on-line auction sites and how to buy.

Our weekly auction starts on Wednesday at 2 p.m., and closes at 10 a.m., on Thursday. Bidders must register in person prior to their first time bidding. It is highly recommended that bidder read the instructions for this auction before participating.

Online Auctions

Public Surplus Standard Rules

Buyers are responsible for:

Issuing timely payment within ( 5 ) business days of of winning bid award notice (no cash, checks or money orders accepted)

Arranging pickup by appointment within ( 10 ) business days of winning bid award notice

Paying bid deposits when applicable

Reading all disclaimers and doing due diligence prior to placing bids

Customers requesting retraction of bid(s) or failing to make payment(s) before default timelines will be blocked from bidding on UCB auctions for six ( 6 ) months.  Reinstatement is by request only after the six ( 6 ) month period has elapsed.

Customers with multiple retractions or defaults on auction items may be banned for longer than six ( 6 ) months.

UC Berkeley reserves the right to refuse service at any time
